Western State Hospital is recruiting for a Recreation Therapist Senior to plan and provide therapeutic recreation interventions and may supervision provision of services.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the job duties include demonstrated ability and experience of therapeutic recreation theory and application. Skill in assessing program needs and developing TR interventions. Skill in working with CMI population providing programs.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in therapeutic recreation. Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist preferred. A criminal history background and drug test will be required on the successful applicant.
